Richard has been acting crazy this last week, worrying about how many BYU students are in the new class at the Medical College. He found out this week that there are 11, which is 3 more than are in his class. With his worrying he thought it would be funny to make a shirt that said something to the effect of "BYU-Wisconsin, the Medical College o f Wisconsin. " Tonight Richard found a site at byu.edu to customize byu logos and came up with this logo. What am I going to do with him.

Magic Happens

With Football season coming up Richard decided to post this on our blog so those people that might look at our page could see how excited he is for a new baby (possibly with the middle name Cougar) and for his Cougars to start their new season. Hopefully Richard will have two reasons to be happy this fall.

Summer Update

The summer has gone by quickly and Richard is hoping that it doesn't end too quickly as he has no desires to start hitting the books again, but he will be great once he does. The pregnancy is going well and we have been lucky that it hasn't been ridiculously hot and/or humid here this summer, but I have spoken too soon as it is supposed to get hot and humid this week. The Toney's (Jenny's family) came out in June and we had a lot of fun hanging out with them. This blog will hopefully be better once Jenny is no longer working full time.

Its a BOY!!!

We found out today that we will be having a boy this year. The due date is August 28 and we are extremely happy.

Richard as a Lobbyist

Richard just came back from a trip to DC where he was lobbying with the AMA. He had a good trip and was very excited to meet with staff members of Senators Feingold & Kohl and a member of Congressman Moore's staff. He also met with Congressman Petri (the actuall congressman). Richard travelled with a group of 6 other students from Medical College of Wisconsin and was with them for the meetings.

Here is a picture that Richard took on his mission. The quality isn't the best because we scanned the photo, but it is a sweet picture. It was a rainy night when richard took the icture. There is a ilttle discoloration because the film got wet during a different rain storm a few months later. Good times in New York.
