Last week my dance studio had their year-end recital. This is always an exciting time of year, but of course, time consuming as well! My first recital here we didn't have Marshall yet and last year Richard was done with school and boards so he had a break from school and it made the week a lot easier. This year though was a whole different story! Richard is on his neurology rotation and was on-call twice during the week. I was trying to balance Marshall, the house, and of course, long work hours. Marshall had five baby-sitters in four days, poor kid. :(
Well, in the end, we all survived, and this week we are enjoying a more regular schedule with lots of mom and Marshall time.
And now, because I did want to document this crazy week, a few pictures of our house by the end of the week...
Lots of laundry that I actually didn't end up finish folding until Monday, about five days after it came out of the dryer.
During this week of limited parent time Marshall discovered that he could tip his slide over and play on it this way. Don't worry mom and dad, we have now put an end to this. We only play on this toy the right way. :)
Despite all of the craziness at home, it was still a good week and the recital went very well. Here are my lovely dancers! I teach all of these girls in one class or another and love them all!
My cute little Ballet II class, minus two of them who were performing with their tap classes. Beautiful ballerinas!
