Hello, hello!
January has come and gone! Hard to believe. One full month behind us in 2025-time flies! This is a super long email. If I were you, just read the first part, and then skip to the pictures!
The last email I sent was January 6th. Gosh. I cannot keep up. We were on a Disney cruise from January 18-25 and it was heaven. The cruise is all detailed below, do not read it! Haha! Purely for our records. Here are a few random high points and low points from before and after the cruise...
*Poor Marshall got a miserable stomach bug and missed the first two days back to school in January. Fortunately, no one else got it, I am sure thanks to neurotic cleaning and so many prayers!
*On January 11th we took Marshall, Bridget and Rachel to the Bountiful Temple to do baptisms! So lovely being there with our three oldest kids! And Gretchen went to a baptism for one of her best friends, so it was an extra lovely morning for everyone!
*Marshall got his braces off on January 15th! 2 1/2 years...he is being semi-good at wearing his retainer.
*Bridget saw a goat give birth at the farm last Monday night and to quote her, "It was amazing!" She honestly loved it and has recounted it to me in detail.
*I started choreography for the school musical and I cannot tell you how much stress it has added to my life.
*Marshall came down with a cold the last two days of our cruise, but it was not awful. I started to feel sick the day after we got home and proceeded to have six miserable nights of sleep. But, Bridget takes the cake because she got sick on Wednesday and had a fever for three days...we have not dealt with fevers since our kids were little, little. But, she was finally fever free on Saturday morning, sweet girl.
*I am still in PT. But, I can jump now! This is huge! My ankle does not like the cold weather, and was much happier in the Caribbean! Take me back!
Everyone's personal highlights from our vacation:
Gretchen: windy deck 6, feeling like she was blowing away, Castaway Cay, all things Moana, seeing Minnie, seeing Mickey and Minnie kiss, endless soft serve ice cream!

Over a year and a half ago, we booked a Disney cruise, and turns out, we picked the perfect time, for so many reasons! One of them being, we completely escaped the polar vortex that swept through the country-haha!
Richard had Friday, the 17th off. All the kids went to school and Richard and I spent the day finishing laundry, packing, and dropping Ziggy off at doggy day care. By 3:30, all the kids were home and we made our way to the airport. We had a long, but uneventful flight to Orlando. We got our suitcases, quickly picked up our rental car, and drove just seven minutes to the hotel. We all fell into bed, everyone was asleep within minutes, and we all slept great!
We were able to sleep in on Saturday morning, which was good for all of us! We were a bit ragged from the week prior! We did breakfast at the hotel, packed up, checked out, and were on the road a little before 11:00. It was just supposed to be about a 45 minute drive from the hotel to the port, but what we didn't know is that this port had multiple cruise ships headed out that day and it is just a two lane highway. So, we definitely found ourselves in traffic, but we listened to Disney music, took in the fun scenery of water and palm trees, and Marshall slept. :) Before long, we had arrived at Port Canaveral! We dropped our bags off at the curb, parked in the parking garage, and made our way to the cruise terminal. It took 30ish minutes to check-in and go through security, and then we were stepping onto the beautiful Disney Treasure. The second we walked into the atrium of the ship, Rachel exclaimed, "It smells just like I remember!" And she was not wrong. Even though we sailed on a different ship two years ago, it smelled exactly the same, and I love that Rachel remembered. She and I soaked in that smell for the entire trip! After walking through the gorgeous 3-story atrium, we made our way to the 11th deck for lunch. Our plan was to go to Marceline Market (their lunch buffet) but we got to Mickey and Friend's Festival of Foods-and a festival it was and hardly any lines! This area was full of different restaurants surrounding the pool decks. There was BBQ, pizza, tacos, a grill with burgers and other things, and fries, fresh fruit, and of course, endless soft serve ice cream. :) Some of us ate at the BBQ place, others got pizza, and of course, everyone got ice cream! We got a table in a perfect spot and just ate and talked and basked in the amazement of this huge, new, beautiful ship. After lunch, we found our staterooms. We put ourselves on the 6th floor this time. We had adjoining rooms and verandahs! We had fun checking out our rooms and we also met our wonderful stateroom host, who was so kind to take such good care of our rooms all week. Her name was Jenny! After checking out our rooms, we made our way to the various kids clubs and got our kids all registered for those. That was a bit of a waste, because Gretchen never went back and the other kids each just spent a bit of time in there later on in the day, and never went back. :) After that, we had the mandatory safety drill and then we went up to deck 12 for the sail away party! We all had some sort of drink or food in hand, we danced to music, enjoyed the fun show on deck 11 with Mickey, Minnie, and other Disney friends, and within minutes, we were headed out! We were the last ship to leave that afternoon, and while we were up on 12 we were able to see each of them sail away, so that was pretty cool too! After the sailaway party, we all scattered a bit. The girls and I grabbed seats in one of the two movie theaters to see Moana 2, Marshall did go to Vibe, his one and only time in the kids club for his age group, and Richard got right in on trivia. Haha! The entertainment crew on board constantly has all sorts of trivia games going on all the time all over the ship, and Richard loves them! Richard and Marshall also eventually met up and played shuffleboard. By the evening, our suitcases were finally delivered to our rooms, we unpacked, and then made our way to dinner. Our assigned restaurant that night was at Worlds of Marvel and it did not disappoint. Such a fun and interactive atmosphere. We all ate great, we met Lloyd and Yami, our wonderful server and assistant server, and Marshall got a picture with Spiderman. We were done with dinner shortly before 10:00 pm and we all decided to call it a night. We went back to our rooms, saw the first towel animal Jenny had made us, ate our chocolates, and fell into bed for our first night being rocked to sleep by the ocean. :) What a great, great day! Oh, one other fun thing. We did step out onto our verandah that night and saw a VERY bright star. Bridget has an app on her phone that will identify stars and planets for you, so when she pointed her camera at it, the app told us it was Saturn! We are believing the app and claiming we saw Saturn. :)
On Sunday, we all slept past 9:30 am. We had breakfast at Marceline Market. They had a fantastic breakfast spread. Something for everyone! The girls ate Mickey waffles and chocolate chip pancakes every day. Bridget loved their bacon. Marshall and I got eggs benedict and/or quiches every single morning. And lots and lots of delicious breakfast pastries. Yum, yum! After breakfast, the kids immediately put swimming suits on and made a bee-line for the Aqua Mouse. This is something they have been looking forward to for months! It is the waterslide on the ship, but also a ride. You sit in a two person tube that is on a moving conveyor belt that takes you into a big tube. It is slowly moving you uphill as you watch darling old school Mickey and Minnie cartoons. There is talking and music playing and you get the occasional squirt or mist of water. That part is probably about 90 seconds, then the conveyor belt ends at a bit of a drop and the rest is an actual water slide. Sometimes the tube is dark and completely enclosed, at times it is open air, and at the end it is a clear, fully enclosed tube that takes you out over the ocean. And then it ends! The kids were all so excited to try this. Given my ankle, I wanted them to ride it first and tell me about it, so I sent them off and asked for details! Gretchen was excited, but also nervous, so she rode with Bridget and Marshall and Rachel rode together. The three older kids all LOVED it, but once was enough for Gretchen. She was terrified when she went out over the ocean and said she would never do it again! So, Richard and I hung out with her on deck 11, ate food, and just relaxed as the older kids rode it a few more times. The rest of the afternoon was spent napping and doing trivia. The girls had fun exploring the ship and found their favorite place. Deck 6, right at the very front. It is the point that sticks out furthest on the ship and you could catch a great wind out there. The girls loved it and seriously spent a huge chunk of their afternoon being windblown out there. I have raised them right though because they told me they wanted to watch the sunset from deck 6 that evening...done! The four of us had a delightful time out there. :) One funny part of the afternoon was Richard, Marshall and I were up on deck 11...eating, and all of a sudden Gretchen came around the corner! We were so shocked to see her, wandering around alone, but clearly she felt very confident navigating things independently. She continued to do this multiple times throughout the week, all in the procurement of ice cream! Haha! Before dinner, we went to our first show, "Disney Seas, the Adventure". It was fun and charming and full of fun music and the classic and beloved Disney characters. The theatre was beautiful and hard to believe it was on a cruise ship! At the end, confetti fell from the ceiling and Gretchen, especially, loved it. After the show, we went right to dinner, at Coco! Coco is my most favorite Disney movie, so I was especially excited for this restaurant and it did not disappoint. The entertainment was stellar with live music and acting tidbits from Miguel and his family. The decor was amazing and I found the whole thing delightful. If I could find the dishes they used in that restaurant, I would instantly buy them. After dinner, Rachel and Gretchen went back to our room to relax, but the rest of us went to a drawing Goofy class, and then played Disney trivia and Majority Matters before calling it a night. In Majority Matters Marshall got called out for his answer, and that led to a very fun back and forth between the teenagers in the room and everyone older than that. Marshall hated the attention, but he handled it well! Ha!
Our Monday was the laziest day, but gosh, it also felt so good! Richard was the only one who woke up in time to eat breakfast, and that is saying something, because breakfast closed at 10:45! Haha! Granted, we did lose an hour of sleep that night, but still. :) Once everyone was up and moving, we just went straight to Deck 11. We ate, swam, napped, and watched Raya and the Last Dragon up by the pool. After a while, Richard left us for trivia, but the rest of us were content to soak in the sun and be close by the food. :) Later that afternoon, Richard and Marshall met up for trivia, and the girls and I went to see Moana 2 again. Bridget and I did sneak out early though to watch the ventriloquist who was performing for one night only. He was amazing and hilarious! Bridget and I were laughing so hard sometimes that we had tears rolling down our cheeks. He is from London, so of course his accent was delightful. He won America's Got Talent a couple of years ago and has had a show in Vegas. He was so good, we both loved it. We had dinner at 1923 that night. Just a classically elegant and beautiful restaurant. After dinner, we played a round of Majority Matters before calling it a night and going to bed!
Tuesday morning we woke up in Tortola! One of the beautiful, beautiful British Virgin Islands. These islands reminded me of Moana...probably because we had been watching a lot of it! But seriously, Tortola is just a stunning green mountain bursting out of the bluest waters of the Caribbean. Just stunning. We forced everyone to wake up at 8:30 so that we could have breakfast and lunch before getting off the ship. We let ourselves have a lazy morning after breakfast though. The girls watched a movie, Marshall did homework, I read on the verandah, and Richard and I both napped...now that is a way to spend a morning! Haha! After lunch, we left the ship at 1:00 for our excursion on Tortola! We climbed into an open air safari bus with the nicest tour guide. He drove us all over the mountains and hills of Tortola. We learned so much about the history of the island and the surrounding islands. He was so kind and made multiple stops along the road to point out interesting things and let us take pictures. At times it was also a sobering drive as he pointed out multiple buildings that had been destroyed in 2017 by Hurricane Irma that have yet to be rebuilt. These buildings included a government building and a school, among others. We did drive by another school though and we saw kids playing outside. It was such a fascinating drive! We eventually made it to Sage Mountain National Park, this national park was funded by the Rockefellers. We had two guides who took us on a one mile hike through the jungle of Tortola. It was humid, muddy, and SO green. We saw huge leaves, SO big. Richard had to carry Gretchen through some pretty muddy parts, but he never fell, and for that I am very grateful! I also did great! I have specifically been doing exercises at PT to get me ready for this hike. I wore my ankle brace and they had walking sticks available for whoever wanted one, and even though a walking stick had not crossed my mind, I was very grateful for one! I navigated the whole hike very well and I am SO grateful that I was able to do it. After our hike, they had cold drinks for us at a little shack and then we got back in the open air safari bus for more driving. More amazing views, more history, more hills, and before we knew it we were at Cane Garden Bay Beach. Oh my. Marshall immediately declared it the nicest beach he has ever been to, and I completely agree! The sand was so soft, with not a rock in sight. The water was warm and clear and so refreshing. The kids and I played in the water, with some decent waves, for 75 minutes. Richard observed from the beach, both napping and taking pictures for us. The kids and I seriously had the best time. And once again, my ankle did great as I navigated the sand and uneven terrain, both in and out of the ocean. It was bliss. Our time at the beach passed quickly, and before we knew it, we were back on the bus to head back to the cruise ship. Once we got back to our rooms, we all showered and got cleaned up and got ready for Pirate Night! We went to the pirate party up on Deck 11 before dinner. Rachel and Gretchen danced for a minute with one of the cast members. It was fun! We had dinner at World of Marvel again, but it was all pirate themed. After dinner, the younger girls were beat, so they went back to the room, but the four of us went to see the fireworks! Richard got us a great spot and we practically had a front row seat to fireworks over the ocean! Amazing! What a day!
On Wednesday morning we woke up in beautiful St. Thomas, of the U.S. Virgin Islands. We decided to split for this excursion. The girls and I got off the ship at 10:45 to go snorkeling! It was SO hot and humid this day. We got on another open air safari bus, and even though it was just about a 15 minute drive, it felt like forever! Our driver didn't give us any history as we drove, and it was seriously so humid! It was fascinating to drive through the streets though because there is a stark difference to the buildings and roads compared to Tortola. That was actually a huge chunk of our dinner conversation that night...the noticeable differences between the two islands, despite being so close together. Anyway, we drove by the one university in the U.S. Virgin Islands, and then we were at the beach, Brewers Bay Beach. Before we knew it, we were being fitted with life jackets, snorkels, and fins, if we wanted them. The girls and I decided to forego the fins. We were just going to snorkel in the bay, and it was so peaceful and calm, no waves, and one of the girls helping us said we didn't need them, so in order to keep it as simple as possible, we passed on the fins! It took a few minutes for us to get situated in our gear, but we got ready, told ourselves to be brave, and then we walked into the water with a couple of guides, lifeguards, and most of our group. Within seconds, Bridget was off! I had Rachel and Gretchen glued to me, one on each side! I slowly got us into deeper water. Gretchen was brave and put her snorkel in her mouth several times, and even put her head in the water a couple of times, but the longer we were out, the more she started crying and the more she clung to me! I decided the best thing to do was take her back to the beach. One our way back to shallow water, we ran into the nicest lifeguard who had helped us earlier. She was so good and talked to both my girls for a few minutes and really calmed Gretchen down. We tried venturing out again, but it quickly became clear that Gretchen was not having it! This darling lifeguard, Ella, told me to go on and she would take care of Gretchen, so off Rachel and I went! Ella was beyond kind and hung out in the water with Gretchen for a while before moving back to the beach. Gretchen honestly had the best time with her. They played in the sand and talked and she was happy as a clam. Soon after Rachel and I took off again, we found Bridget! Bridget said she had seen multiple sea turtles, and lots of fish. Within minutes, Bridget found another sea turtle for us. Rachel started to get a little panicky, but bless that cute little sea turtle, he swam up to the top of the water, poked his head out so Rachel could see him, and then he swam back down. Shortly after that, we saw a sting ray! Now, to be clear, we were snorkeling in deep water, and the sting rays, sea turtles and fish, are all close to the ocean floor, while we are floating on top. It is just the turtles who occasionally come up to the surface. So all this to say, we are feet and feet away from these creatures, but that sting ray sent Rachel completely over the edge! I continued to snorkel around and just dragged Rachel around with me! Haha! Bridget stuck close to the guides who swam over to the other side of the bay to show us the coral reef, sea urchins and a lion fish. I kind of did my own thing, with Rachel in tow, as long as she could stand it! Eventually, she was so unhinged, I took her back to shore and went out by myself for just a bit longer. Luckily I was able to see one more sea turtle and several beautiful fish. All in all, it was successful and I am so glad we did it! While we were having that adventure, Richard and Marshall learned about pirates! They did loads of driving, with an exceptional guide, who told them all sorts of history and current things. St. Thomas was part of Denmark before it became a US territory. They learned all about Black Beard and actual, legitimate treasure-thousands and thousands of gold and silver coins-blows my mind! They both really, really enjoyed it. Once we were all back on the boat we had the most relaxing afternoon. Some chilled in the room, Richard and the older kids hit up some trivia, sometimes we were up on Deck 11 and 12 enjoying food and sun and lounging. It was dreamy. That evening Bridget, Gretchen and I went to the variety show and it was hilarious and amazing! It was a husband and wife team, the DuBois. She is a 6th generation circus performer and was on The Greatest Showman. They were hilarious, but also amazing. Incredible juggling, unicycles, silks, the works! We loved it! For dinner, we were back to Coco for their Day of the Dead celebration. It was so, so fun. Amazing dancing, great music, and beautiful storytelling. We also had fantastic food that night. Most of us got their mini churros with caramel dipping sauce for dessert and they were delicious. After dinner, we did Music Through the Decades Trivia...Marshall told us our last 4 answers...we had no idea what the songs were! Haha!
Thursday was our last full day at sea on the ship and we completely capitalized on it! But we still let ourselves sleep in-haha! But, we also got an extra hour of sleep back that night, which we very much needed...haha! After breakfast at Marceline Market (I think all of us are missing that place!) the girls hit up the movie theater for Mufasa. None of them had seen it yet, and they were excited. Richard, Marshall and I played our own games from home as we waited for our trivia games to start. After that, we all met up again and the big kids and I finally did the Aqua Mouse! We went three times in a row, because of course, they each wanted a turn to ride with me. :) Awe, such love. :) We really did have a great time though and it was fun to share that experience with each of them. And bonus, I didn't hurt my ankle, and I was able to get in and out of the tube without too much embarrassment! Richard and Grizz hung out on Deck 11 and in the room while we were doing that. Once we were done with that, Richard and Marshall took off for trivia again, I took a quick shower, and then I took Gretchen to meet Moana! Gretchen only had two character requests, but Moana was one. We got there early, so we were close to the front of the line, and Gretchen was very patient to wait with me. Moana was so cute with her and told her if she ever sees a hawk in the sky, to think of Maui. :) After Moana, we all met up again to visit Jumbeaux's Sweets-a little dessert shop on the ship. All the kids got gelato, Richard a rice krispy, and me, macaroons! We ate up on Deck 11 and very much enjoyed our pre-dinner snack! Ah, the cruise life, it's a good one! After that, we dashed to get in line for Beauty and the Beast play in their main theatre. It was great! Gaston was especially amazing. One funny moment was at the end when everyone had changed back into humans, Lumiere came running on stage, and his shoe flew into the audience! It garnered a great laugh from everyone. After the play, I convinced Richard to come see the DuBois' again-they were doing just a 30 minute adults only show, and once again, it was just fantastic! Even Richard was impressed with their mad skills! We had dinner at 1923, and Gretchen actually ate...which was a miracle. She ate great the first night, and then just picked at her dinner all the other nights! Anyway, after dinner, the girls and I were going to meet Minnie Mouse, Gretchen's other request, but we completely lucked out because Mickey was standing around without a line! So, we got to meet him, and then Minnie came around the corner and Mickey and Minnie kissed, and Gretchen is still talking about it. She was over the moon with this one second smooch! So, within minutes, we met Mickey and Minnie and the whole thing was darling. After that fun, Bridget and I met Richard and Marshall for the pop quiz show. It was a small group, so I went up and participated and Richard did the lightning round! He rocked it! He had to listen to music and name the show/movie it came from. He only missed one, and probably got almost 20 right. Sadly, our team had not performed well in the regular rounds, but Richard caught us up enough that we only lost by 2 points! We all had fun watching him up there! What a day-we packed it in! Constant fun on the ship!
Friday morning we were up at 9:00, and woke up to the lovely Castaway Cay, in the Bahamas, Disney's private island. :) We had a quick breakfast at Marceline Market again and were off the boat shortly after 10:00 am. Unfortunately, the weather was not stellar this day (low 70s and overcast, with rain in the afternoon), but I had mentally and emotionally prepared myself for this based on Disney cruise Facebook groups, and other people I know who have visited there in the winter. Anyway, all this to say, the weather could have been better, but we really still had a lot of fun, and I think given our family's beach dynamic, the weather actually helped us out! Ha! Anyway, off the boat shortly after 10:00. We were all in our swimsuits, but we were all wearing jackets/hoodies. We had to walk quite a ways, but we eventually made it to the beach, and because of the weather, we did not have to fight anyone for space! We had arranged to rent snorkels, tubes, kayaks, and bikes, but because of the weather, the kayaks had been cancelled, but we picked up everything else. Marshall and Bridget did snorkel a bit, but they didn't last long with the cooler temperatures. We spent most of our beach time playing in the sand, the girls taking quick dips in the ocean, laying in a hammock, and lounging on beach chairs. Gretchen, especially, had a great time. She was 100% content to move from sand to water and actually probably spent the most time wading the water out of everyone. This beach also had lots of shell pieces, and they were beautiful! We left everything there, but she found shells with orange, purple, pink stripes...they were gorgeous! She had a ball with the shells, sand and water. Perfect life, if you ask me! Even though we didn't spend lots of time in the water, we sure enjoyed looking at the water. It was gorgeous! Just clear and the most beautiful blues. So pretty. Disney provided lunch for us on the island so we didn't have to go back to the ship. It was just a good old classic BBQ-hamburgers and hot dogs. The kids were over the moon when they discovered unlimited soft serve ice cream! Haha! Another fun treat was we ran into Lloyd, our server! He was so kind and helped the younger girls carry their trays and he got a table for us-the nicest guy! After lunch, I went back to the beach with Rachel and Gretchen and Richard, Marshall, and Bridget biked around the island. When they returned their bikes, Marshall found out that you could run a 5K on the island and get a medal. So, he and Richard hurried back to the ship so Marshall could change his clothes and get his running shoes. As soon as they were back, Marshall did his run. By this time, it was raining, not pouring, but enough rain to make the sand not so fun. We returned our rentals, packed up, and then the girls took shelter in a shop while we waited for Marshall to finish. As soon as he was done, he got his medal, and we hopped on a little train to get us back to the ship. Marshall was excited to run at sea level, but turns out, he hated the humidity! But, still glad he did it. Once we were back on the ship, we all got hot chocolate and took warm showers! The live show that evening was Moana and it was stellar! It was kind of a fusion between Moana and Moana 2, and Gretchen did not like that, but the rest of us really enjoyed it. Moana, the actress, was amazing. She had such a powerful voice. The grandma served as the narrator, and also played her part, and she was delightful. The stage was amazing, and the dancing was phenomenal. Phenomenal! After the show, we went back to our rooms to finish packing so we could have all our suitcases but one in the hallway-we were successful! On our way to dinner, we ran into Minnie Mouse, who did not have a line! Gretchen asked if we could stop, so she and I did and the rest went on ahead. Oh my. That darling Minnie was so cute and Minnie and Gretchen just held onto each other and I started to cry! I was seriously a blubbering mess. It was the sweetest. We eventually made our way to dinner, back at Worlds of Marvel for our last night, hosted by Groot, who we all love, so that was a lot of fun. As we were waiting for our main course though, a server who was carrying a tray full of dishes and lids accidentally dumped almost all of it on Bridget! It was insane. I was sitting across the table from her and I know my mouth was wide open in complete shock! Fortunately, nothing hit her head, and I am so glad she didn't get cut or burned, but oh my, it was a mess! Most of the food went down the back of her shirt. Everyone was so apologetic. The server felt awful, and we tried to assure him all was fine. Our own server and assistant server were so attentive to us, as were many other staff. They helped clean Bridget up and then they moved us to an open table around the corner because they had such a mess to clean up. Once we were settled, they brought Bridget a ginger ale, and gave us extra dessert and two specialty non-alcoholic drinks in speciality cups. Marshall and Rachel LOVED the drinks. Needless to say, we got loads of attention as we finished our dinner! The head server of the restaurant also checked on us multiple times and arranged to have Bridget and Richard's clothes laundered for free overnight. Richard got a little dirty, but Bridget for sure took the brunt of it! The whole thing was bananas, but we were not mad at all! One other funny thing that evening is before the ship left the Bahamas the captain came over the speaker and said they anticipated 10 foot waves that night and said to prepare for a lot of movement. Earlier in the week we had 6-7 foot waves. So when we were talking about the waves during dinner Rachel said, "Nah, I'm not worried about 10 foot waves, I've survived 67 foot waves, so this won't be a big deal!" Haha! We got a great laugh out of that misunderstanding! Anyway, after all the excitement died down after dinner, Richard, Bridget, Marshall and I went to go play Majority Matters for the last time...and we WON! With a perfect score! We each got a little Disney cruise line key chain and we were very happy with our victory! By the time we went to bed, the boat was a rockin' but we just let it rock us to sleep and we enjoyed our last sleep on the ship.
Saturday, the saddest day, obviously! We had to wake up early, and be out of our room by 8:00. We begrudgingly said good-bye to our rooms and went to breakfast back to Worlds of Marvel. We were happy to get a little more time with Lloyd and Yami and we did eat a really good breakfast. Before we knew it, we were making our way off the ship and picking up our bags in customs. A fantastic trip, but always so sad to leave!
Our flight didn't leave until 7:00 pm, so we had the whole day to kill. We decided to just drive 20 minutes and spend the day at Cape Canaveral and do all the NASA things. All I will say is, I am glad we went, but we could have spent just a little bit more money and gone to Disneyworld and everyone would have had way more fun! Haha! Marshall enjoyed it, and Richard and I liked it, but the girls were impressed zero. Everyone was super well behaved, and we literally spent hours there, but no one was very impressed that Americans had figured out how to land on the moon...and all the steps it took to make it to that point! I've decided I need to show them Apollo 13, but the hilarious comedy Rocketman has made a comeback in our house, and that makes me happy!
We had a safe flight home that night and fell into our beds at home about midnight.
Well, this has literally taken me eight days to write. Finally done!
